Booking Terms

  • 100% payment is to be made for domestic packages before 15 days of the departure date.
  • 100% payment is to be made for international packages before 30 days of the departure date.
  • In case of cancellation, standard cancellation policies will be applicable or may be changed as per the policies.

Detailed Itenary

Days Royal Spiti Itenary

Day 1 :  Shimla-Sangla-Kalpa-Tabo

  • We havebreakfast, basking in the firstrays of the sun, and later headtowards Chitkul. Chitkul can be described as one of the most scenic settlements in the valleyand the last inhabited villagebefore the India-China border.
  • This short drive from Sangla toChitkul will be one of the mostscenic drives you’ll take with
    plenty of opportunities to takestunning photographs. Afterspending time in Chitkul, we
    turn around and head to Kalpa.Overnight at a hotel in Kalpa.

Day 2 :  Shimla-Sangla-Kalpa-Tabo

  • Today, the landscape changesfrom green-mountains to desert-mountains. We continue
    our journey through Kinnaurand enter the HindustanTibet Highway – often calledthe world’s most adventurousroads.
  • We drive via Puh, whichis the last fuel station on this road before Kaza. After a fuelrefill, we drive towards Nako,a village situated at 3600m , finally making our way to Tabo/ Kaza – the district capital ofSpiti Valley.
  • Overnight at a hotel in Tabo/Kaza.

Day 3 :  Shimla-Sangla-Kalpa-Tabo

  • Imagine a national park withan abundance of animals andbirds, with some rare plantvarieties, a river that gusheswhen it isn’t frozen andtrekking opportunities for theadventure-seekers.
  • The Pin Valley promises all this andmore.We first visit the KungriMonastery and then thebeautiful hamlet of Mudh – thelast motorable village of the PinValley. We return to Kaza in the evening.
  • Overnight at a hotel in Kaza.

Day 4 :  Drive from Kaza – Tabo – Dhankar Lake Trek

    • After a delicious breakfast, wecontinue our Spiti Valley tourand drive towards the onlyother town of Spiti Valley –Tabo.

Day 5 : Kaza Kaza Chandratal Manali

  • After spending a coupleof hours at Tabo, we drivetowards Dhankar. Perched high above the confluenceof the Spiti and Pin River,in a hidden bowl, is the tinyhamlet of Dhankar.
  • If time andenergy permits, we can hike toDhankar Lake. We then drive to Lhalung, another picturesque village, before returning toKaza.Overnight at a hotel in Kaza.

Day 6 : Drive from Kaza- Langza – Hikkim -Komik – Ki Monastery- Kibber – Chicham

  • Today, we start the day with adrive to Komik. The highest villagein Asia, Komik, which literallytranslates to ‘eye of a snow cock’,is situated at a height of 4513metres.
  • Then we head to Hikkim- which houses the highest postoffice in the world, making ourway to Langza. We then head tothe world famous Ki Monastery.
  • Then we will move farther downthe valley to the picturesquevillage of Kibber and the ChichamBridge. We stay in Chicham orreturn to Kaza in the evening.
    Overnight at a hotel in Kaza orhomestay in Chicham.

Day 7 :  Drive from Chicham -Losar – Kunzum Pass – Chandratal Lake

  • This day, we commence our journey back home and trace our steps back on the Kaza –Manali road. However, we takea last stop at another Spitian wonder – Chandratal Lake.
  • Themystical and beautiful Lake,which translates to “Moon Lake”, is located at a height of14,000 feet.
  • The camps nearthe Lake are equipped withcamping equipment includingtents, sleeping bags / blanketsand a comfortable mattress.
  • Overnight at camps near Chandratal Lake.

Day 8 :  Drive from Chandratal Lake – Batal – Chattru – Atal Tunnel – Manali

  • Today, if time permits, we canvisit the lake one more timebefore we bid goodbye to SpitiValley.
  • We continue driving onthe Kaza – Manali road andafter a few hours of driving andsome more stunning landscape,we pass through the famousAtal Tunnel and reach Manalito end your breath-taking SpitiValley sojourn.
  • Tour ends.
